"Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow."  -Melody Beattie

Friends -

The season of Thanksgiving is a wonderful time to gather with family and friends and reflect on the blessings of the last year.  As I pause on this Thanksgiving to count my blessings, I want to express to you (a member of the UCHS team) the gratitude that I have for you and the service that you give to those we serve.  Thank you for all that you give and contribute to make UCHS successful in fulfilling and carrying out the mission of being a Christian ministry providing vibrant living, diverse programs of outreach and compassionate services.  Our mission is in place so that we may enrich and add life to years, and without you it would not be possible!

And an extra special note of gratitude to the team members who will be working at our communities on Thursday to provide care and services including preparing and serving Thanksgiving Day meals to those who have entrusted us with their care.

I wish you a heart filled with love and gratitude on this Thanksgiving and throughout the year.

Gratefully,

Lee
